Gift Bag Punch Board

Hi everyone!

A while back I purchased the Stampin’ Up! Gift Bag Punch Board {Item #135862}. I wanted to share a few of the details about it in case you think this might be a product you would like to add to your paper crafting tools. It is so easy to make little gift bags and treat holders for all occasions! I think these bags would also make cute favor packaging for wedding or baby showers 🙂

*Makes bags in small{2 5/8″ wide}, medium{3 1/8″ wide} and large{3 5/8″ wide} sizes. All sizes are 2″ deep and can be made 4″ to 10 1/4″ tall.

*The punch board comes with clear, detailed instructions {printed on the board and a paper copy as well}.

*A scoring tool stores neatly in a storage slot within the punch board for easy access.

*The punch is a two-way punch ~ one side punches the bottom tabs and the other side of the punch mechanism has a dual hole punch for ribbon holes. The instructions include a diagram showing where the bag top should be punched.

* It is lightweight, compact and portable.

*There are a few different ways to close the gift bags. {pictured left to right}

1}  Use decorative scissors or an edge die along the top of the bag, score and fold over. I used a decorative clothespin to fasten the bag shut.

2} Thread ribbon through the holes starting from the back and tie the bag shut with a bow.

3} Separate handles ~ the ribbon should be cut to accommodate the desired handle lengths. Just thread the ribbon through the outside holes and knot on the inside of the bag.
