Kraft Bag Gift Card Holder

Hi everyone!

This is a fun and easy gift card holder idea that can be used for any occasion. A note card is slipped into the top and the gift card is in the bottom pocket. It’s like having the note card/envelope and gift/packaging all in one!

It is created by using a small Kraft paper bag ~ the one I used measured 4 5/8″ x 7 1/8″ {of course any small sized/colored bag could be used}. The first step is to decide how large you want the bottom pocket to be. Fold it up, crease with a bone folder and wrap a strip of patterned paper around it, securing it in the back. *Please note: the strip of patterned paper needs to be long enough to just overlap slightly in the back before adhering the edges together.

The gift card holder can be as plain or as fancy as you wish. For mine, I used an edge die across the top and used the same die to cut a piece of coordinating card stock to go along the patterned paper strip. A little “to & from” tag was stamped and added with a baker’s twine bow. A little note card, either store bought or handmade, then gets tucked into the top pocket to add your personal message to the recipient 🙂

Until next time,

Erin
