Tuesday’s Tip #22

Hi everyone!

Welcome to today’s Tuesday’s Tip. These posts are tips about different products, crafting and also ways of stretching the supplies that you already may have. I alternate Tuesday’s Tip,  Technique Tuesday and Tuesday’s Tag just to change things up a bit.

Do you like to use bakers twine or floss on your projects? A lot of times they are wrapped tightly around cardboard “bobbins” which makes storage easy but leaves them with kinks when unrolled. Today I want to share with you how to easily straighten your bakers twine or floss.

Pre-heat a curling iron or a flat iron. Slowly pull the twine through {no stopping as it could scorch or burn} and see how nice and straight it becomes. Repeat if necessary. ∗Please note: as the temperatures of hair appliances do vary, I would recommend starting at a lower temperature. If you find it is not straightening to your satisfaction, gradually increase the temperature.

No more kinks or funny angles and it’s all ready to tie a pretty bow! 🙂

I hope you enjoyed this weeks tip. As always, please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
