Tuesday’s Tag #9

Hi everyone!

Welcome to “Tuesday’s Tag”!  These posts feature how to create different styles of tags that can be used for the usual purpose ~ gifts. But tags can also be added to scrapbook layouts, cards, albums and journals. I hope that you will join me and enjoy creating some tags 🙂  I alternate Tuesday’s Tip,  Technique Tuesday and Tuesday’s Tag just to change things up a bit.

Today’s tag: Thank You {ideal for a teacher}

You will need: card stock {black and kraft}, “thank you” and “to/from”stamps, white ink, powder tool, dies or cutting tool of choice, small hole punch, ribbon/twine, any extra embellishments. ∗Please note: the card stock cutting measurements are based on the die I used for cutting the black card stock but this tag can be whatever size you want to make it.

∗Please note: you may click on the link below for a printable project sheet.

1} Cut the black card stock to measure  2 1/4″ x 3 1/2″.

2} Cut the kraft card stock to measure 2 1/2″ x 3 3/4″.

3} Adhere the black card stock to the kraft leaving equal borders on all four sides.

4} Using the powder tool, rub it over the black card stock to resemble a chalk board.

5} Stamp your chosen images on the front and “to/from” on the back.

6} I added a punched card stock apple in one corner and covered it with Glossy Accents.

7} Punch a small hole in the top left corner for threading through the hanger.
