“Welcome Spring” Stitchery

Hi everyone!

I know that spring seems like a long time away but it doesn’t hurt to dream about it during this cold and snowy weather!  This framed stitchery is a simple design with a watering can and flowers stitched on quilted muslin. I left this stitchery as is but it could be aged with a coffee/vanilla/cinnamon stain. The stitched area measures 5″ x 7″.

I’ve had this pattern for years now and finally got around to stitching it. Thank you to Cedarberry Stitches for the free pattern. If anyone is interested in stitching this design, contact me and I will email you the pattern}.

“Harvest Blessings” Stitchery

Hi everyone!

Pumpkins, leaves and acorns always remind us of the fall season which is quickly approaching. This fall design is hand embroidered on 100% cotton muslin and is then aged with a coffee, vanilla and cinnamon stain and baked {it may also be left “unaged”}.  The stitching area measures 8″ x 10 1/2″ and is in a distressed black frame {outside frame dimensions are  9 1/2″ x 12″}. The frame may sit or hang.

This is just the first of several fall projects that I will be sharing with you in the weeks to come 🙂
